Curb
The curbs were set in the parking lot today using a special piece of equipment that takes cement on one end and spits out a continuous curb on the other -- much like the play-dough toy.
Once the curb is made, a crew works to smooth out the edges, form a seam every so-many feet, and clean up the ends. Some tight curves and areas around the catch basins can't be done with the machine and will be done by hand tomorrow.Because of the space needed by the modulars, the back row of the parking lot won't be built in this phase. This means that some of the curb may appear a little strange until the parking lot is complete, but we will have more than enough parking for our present size.
