All ten sections of the elementary school are now in place and are being fitted together. Here's what it looked like this afternoon:
The doors you see are the main entrance to the building. A hallway will run completely through the building, with 4 classrooms on each side of the hall. The boxes hanging off the building are heating and air conditioning units (each room has its own thermostat). There is a lavoritory on each side of the hall.
A lot of work goes into joining the buildings together. They use a bulldozer to pull the buildings onto the pad and shift them into place, and then use a series of rollers and winches to pull them together, while adjusting the 240 cinderblock columns underneath the building to get all the floors even. Once the buildings are made to fit together, they seal the joint and trim it inside and out so it looks like one building.

The teachers and students can control the temperature of their own room - truly Heaven on Earth!
